Stripper platforms: Extreme platforms very often worn by strippers and dancers sometimes known as dancer's shoes. Stripper platforms are also popular for fetish reasons.

The plateau (platform) of these shoes are 1 inch and higher, and the toe to heel rise is usually 5 inches, making the overall height of the shoe 6 inches or more. These platforms are often made of transparent acrylic, which can help mask the bulky and dominating structure of the shoe.
