Very cool Beaglism and a great idea.
Ok since we are on that subject, I am much more partial to the images generally being on the left margin instead of the default right. They look orphaned on that side and for reading/viewing simultaneously, I think it works better on the left. What do you guys think? <Cam>
I use both left images and right images, as well as aligned under the text, too. I find the orphaned looking images are the ones that are left-aligned at teh bottom of the page. I sometimes will move the image to the top of its section to have the text wrapped to the image. <FAQ ;@)>
I find the wrapped text around the image a plus. I like it and helps integrate the image and text within the page nicely. -Cam
I like big images on the right, because it doesn't break the flow of the text so much. Also because the eye tends to scan a page left to right and rest on the right side, having a big image there is more striking. I do agree that thumbnails tend to look less orphaned on the left though. By the same reasoning with too small images on the right side there is no dense mass for the eye to rest on. Maybe someone can write a tip about it ;) -Beaglism
And then there is horizontal alignment.... :-) Cam
