[edit] How to improve your Tittiecam Recording:
1 - The more light the better.
2 - The more bandwidth the better.
Voyeurweb's Tittiecam has a "simulate recording" feature. It is a sandbox where an actual recording is simulated from a to z including presenting you the final results as others would see your clips. BUT: Nobody but you will see your recordings. It is highly recommended to go through a few simulations before going online at the real tittiecam. Click here for the Simulation

1 - Why is light so important?
We record directly from your webcam. When your webcam does not have enough light, it produces noise. Noise cannot be compressed! That means the bytes you transfer from your camera to our servers become more and more. If they exceed your max bandwidth, we loose frames. That means your clip begins to stop and go and stop and go.
2 - How to increase your bandwidth?
You cannot. However you should stop other programs which eat up your bandwidth. Like for example your internet-radio or whatever. The more bandwidth we have between you and us (and the only bottleneck is you!) the better the result will look like.

Example: Video does not run fluid due to bandwidth:
This lady had an upload stream of 20kbyte/sec. That is bad even for a dial up connection. The result is a video which stops and goes because many frames are missing.
Is there anything she could do? Yes, there is! Make sure other bandwidth intensive applications are stopped. Do not move too fast. We only transmit the differences between each frame. There are 15 frames a second. However if 95% of the entire content of each frame changes between each frame, you will have a problem.
Example: Video looks grainy and is not sharp:
This lady had an upload stream of 200kbyte/sec. That is more than enough. BUT: She did not use enough light!
[edit] A Word on Cameras
Some of the clips we show look much better than being recorded by a normal webcam. How can that be? First of all there are webcams for USD25 - and you get what you paid for: A lousy resolution, no focus, no real color. Then there are webcams for USD 150. Again you get what you paid for: Focus and nice colors. Also the inbuilt Mac cameras are very good. You want to go even better? That is simple: If your computer has a DV input through firewire (for example all Macs have that), you do not have to use a webcam, but can plug in your DV camcorder. Now you talk resolution!
