Freckles are pigment cells within the [[skin]].  These pigment cells are darker than the cells that surround them, and respond to sunlight by becoming even darker. 

Freckles look like small brown dots of varying darkness randomly covering the skin.

A fun party game to try on a [[male]] with freckles is to connect the freckles with a pen to make animal shapes (best done when the subject is passed out - have a [[camera]] handy).

An even more fun game is trying to connect the dots with your [[tongue]] on a [[female]] partner (best done when she is feeling amorous - have a camera handy).
