A bodysuit, or body, is a [[leotard]]-like {{w|garment}} that also has [[wikt:snap|snap]]s at the [[crotch]]. It is usually skintight or formfitting and can have {{w|sleeve}}s of any length or be made like a [[tank top]]. Bodysuits are for both females and males and an item of [[lingerie]]. A bodysuit can be worn as a regular [[top]]. It is a no-no to wear a [[bra]] under a bodysuit!

A bodysuit may be worn as a top for the smooth line it provides, or because it cannot become untucked from one's [[pants]] or [[skirt]].
