A condom is a device that is used for birth control and STD prevention that is worn over the penis. A condom acts as a barrier to block semen from entering the vaginal canal and prevent the spread of STD's by blocking fluid exchange. A CONDOM IS NOT 100% EFFECTIVE AT EITHER BIRTH CONTROL OR BLOCKING FLUID EXCHANGE! If you want 100% effectiveness, see celibate.
Condoms have been around for centuries and have been made from animal intestines, rubber, latex and even cloth soaked in chemicals.
Just remember 2 words: SAFE SEX
