Carnaval is a seasonal party held in Brazil. People dress up with costumes and organize parades while thousands of dancers show up and dance in bikinis. Rio de Janeiro Carnaval is the most famous but other cities, like Salvador da Bahia also have similar parties (but not equal, each type of Carnaval being unique). Each year, the samba schools in Rio compete for the glory of being elected the best. The parade takes place in the street, a special place called the "Sambódromo" and involves thousands of people, hundreds from each samba school. Several celebrities support the show, participating on the parade, leading each school. The Carnaval occurs 40 days before Easter Weekend and, in Brazil, that is on Summer. Lots of thongs and topless women dance on the show and, as one would expect, there are also wild parties across the city.
