Nick

Nicknames are aliases for VWebbers and Contributors. Real names are generally not used to provide some level of anonymity. Highly recommended to use an alias on-line for much activities, especially VW and alike. While your current job may not care, future employment opportunities may, and the internet is forever (thewaybackmachine). Nicknames and usernames are not the same, but can be. Nicknames are what other viewers will know your posts by; whereas, username is what the computer system login will know you.
