Shelf bra

A Shelf bra is a bra that does not offer coverage over the top part of the teat and nipple, just support from beneath the breast. A shelf bra gives the impression as if her tits are sitting on a shelf. A shelf bra might be required, if the lady wears a sexy top which has a very low cut neckline (decollete) and tries to hide her bra. Another reason to wear a shelf bra is to expose the shape of her nipples through a through the out garnment, like for example a top, while still fighting the forces of gravity on her tits. This effect is called poking nipples. Shelf bra are always kind of teasing the viewers and an invitation to play with her boobs.
