Sam, the namesake of Sam's Place, was a member of the RC community for many years. He was an excellent photographer and very well received by all who met him. The ??????? BB was renamed Sam's Place in his honor after he died flying his vintage ????? airplane home from Mexico when it crashed killing him and all aboard.
