Subject: #20051118-163056 - Flash Cards Bunny Scavenager Hunt 04 - It takes a threesome to really make me wet. Specifically, an oxygen atom going at it with two hydrogen atoms at the same time. For the chemistry-challenged, HOH or H2O is water.

Contributor: A large protected inlet of deep water is ideal for a harbor. Like Baltimore sitting at the head of the Patapsco River.

Named in honor of Lord Baltimore, its current nickname is Charm City. I hope Baltimore finds me charming.

(scavenger hunt: Water)

Blue: Back once again with more scenic postcards! ;)

Contributor: There are many water-related firsts that have occurred in Baltimore: The first dredging machine in world; the first water company chartered in the US; the first US war ship to capture an enemy vessel; first US steam boating company; first steam tanker built in the US; and the first harbor to be shown on scavenger hunt.

Blue: Love that zip-up dress!!

Contributor: When it was established in 1729, Baltimore laid further west than any other major Atlantic harbor and today it is the fifth busiest U.S. port.

The best way to travel over water is by boat. And Baltimore has a water taxi service. I am not sure how to flag one down, so let me try this approach.

(scavenger hunt: Boat)

Contributor: Another way to travel over water is to use a bridge, like this one crossing the Potomac River that is named after . . . Frances Scott Key.

In the foreground is the last remnant of the Aqueduct Bridge, built in 1834, that used to connect a canal on this side of the river to one on the other side of the river. So at one time, there were boats crossing OVER boats.

(scavenger hunt: Bridge)

Blue: Such a fit cutie...

Contributor: The larger arch of the old Aqueduct Bridge was to accommodate a railroad. Which also meant at one time, boats were floating over trains here.

I got to leave now, because all this discussion of water makes me want to pee.

(scavenger hunt: Combination - stairs, bridge, plane, water, roadside, big business, weather)

Contributor: On a more practical side. One needs water to do laundry.

(scavenger hunt: Laundry

Blue: Hahahaha! dirty girl ;)

File:Flash Cards Bunny-2005 Hunt 04-5.jpg
Contributor: I might as well enjoy the vibrations while waiting for the machine to finish. Just getting my moneys worth.

Blue: Feel those vibrations ;)

File:Flash Cards Bunny-2005 Hunt 04-6.jpg
Contributor: Hey. My panties have vanished. Did the laundry gremlin take all my panties? I am sure you have met the laundry gremlin. It is the reason you get orphaned socks.

Blue:

File:Flash Cards Bunny-2005 Hunt 04-7.jpg
Contributor: I can not find my panties anywhere. Despite examining all the nooks and crannies, like I am sure you are doing right now.

Blue:

Contributor: I have a whole day of errands to take care of, so I guess I am going to have to go without panties (again)!

And risk a little embarrassment (or give someone a thrill), if a gust of wind blows open my dress like this.

To be continued . . .

Blue: Thank you!!
