Hiding face
Hiding faces in erotic photography: Although the face is very often considered an important element of sexual attraction, it is not required to show the model's face in an erotic photo.
The "brutal" type of hiding face is to blur the face of the model after the shot has been taken. However, this method is not optimal. The blacked-out face disturbs the pictures. Some viewers do not give superb votes to photos showing blurred faces. Reject contri use butterflies, hearts, or other cut-n-paste clipart figures to hide a face, or they may add a larger blur over such distracting edits. Blur, block out, or crop the face if the identity of the model must not be shown.
The best way to hide identity is to hide the face when the photo is shot. The photo will not need any post-modifications. Many contributors who have never shown their face have received superb votes. The examples shown below are all taken from highly ranked contri and/or Igor's Hall of Fame. This technique requires a more planning. When you start the photo shoot, if you know the images are for posting, have the photographer give directions to ensure the face cannot be seen.
Face hiding can be as simple as turning the face away from the camera. Cropping is another means, but sometimes leaves the person looking like their head was chopped off (also called the Marie Antoinette effect). Use of glasses, hair, hands, hats, scarfs, plants, or even pulling her sexy top up can all effectively hide the model's face.
Blurred Face Comments
Some bashers leave nasty comments to those contributors who do not show their faces. These adolescents need to be fed to sharky. VW accepts contri from people who, for their own reasons, wish to keep their identity hidden. Adults understand that some people's lives do not allow public exposure of their fun pastime here at VW. Hidden face or not, all are welcomed to submit. Do not allow the bashers to intimidate you. FLAG THIS COMMENT AS INAPPROPRIATE if the basher is rude in the request to show a face.
