The Kama Sutra is an ancient indian text. Written in Sanskrit , it is attributed to Vâtsyâyana who lived 1500 years ago but probably had several contributors. It was translated into english in 1883 by the famous explorer Sir Richard Francis Burton (1821-90). The Kama Sutra is considered to be the standard work on sex. Part 2 includes chapters on embraces, caressing, kisses, biting, oral sex and copulation. Eighty-four sex positions are explained as arts. Several modern versions completed the text and the descriptions.
