Lover

Someone who loves someone else. Can include or at least lead to sex, but not in all cases.

In the expressions

"This is my lover," the person is speaking of their sexual partner.

"I'm a lover of fine wine," the person speaking is not engaging in sex with fermented grape juice, well, they are not admitting to that in the declaration.
