- A celebration just before the start of Lent. One of the biggest celebrations is in New Orleans, Louisiana. Other cities attempt to host similar festivals, such as Saint Louis, Missouri. People travel from all over to arrive in New Orleans in time for the celebration.
The excitement of the festival is seeing what some ladies will do to earn glass or plastic beads, especially flashing their tits and asses or going topless.
