Netspeak is slang for either the shorthand type of writing used on the internet that minimizes letters used while conveying the full meaning of the word.

Example: R u there?

Alternatively, spoken words with meanings solely or primarily used in reference to the internet or an internet site.
Example: Checked out RC yet today?
