Females since the beginning of time have used their locks to gain attention of men... and other women. A few styles of hair dressing are common to receive a name, often from our childhood that lingers with us in adulthood. Some women let their glorious manes remain free and flowing. Others braid their hair or use various devices to bind their frocks into their desired styles.

Ponytail

A ponytail pulls long hair back and fastens something around the stack of hair allowing the ends to dangle free. The resemblance to a horse's tail is clear. Braids are often tied into a ponytail.

Pigtails

Pigtails are not an appendage from FAQ's ass. That would be singular. When always used in the plural, pigtails refers to a hair styling. The hair is divided into two, and a small ponytail is made from each side. Often pigtails are short. Always pigtails are cute. This hair style allows longer hair without the trapped heat and humidity on the wearer's neck.
