A living room allows almost any type of sex from masturbation to intercourse. While the living room does not give any limitations to masturbation, intercourse is somehow limited unless you fuck on the floor: The couch you typically find in a living room does not give you as much space and freedom as a bed. Sex in the living room is quite often more spontaneous than sex in bed.
