Slang

Slang is sloppy language. Slang is jargon, or nomenclature for a particular group with a common interest. VWebbers use slang and is slang. Slang is readily understood by people within the group, and often misunderstood by those outside the group. Slang is using words for totally different meanings (beaver, wood), inventing new words (Igorisms, -bagos), or inventing new words from existing one (contri, sextion). Acronyms can be slang as well (WfI, PDPMEMA).
