Slides

1. Slide is a common term that refers to a shoe that is backless and open-toed, essentially an open-toed mule. Generally, all slides are a type of sandal. Wooden slides are called clogs. Thongs (what us old guys think of as shoes, rather than underwear) and flip flops are normally classified separately.
2. Slides are one of the ways images are captured on film. Slides are also called transparencies. Slide film is a "positive" film as opposed to a "negative" film. The film has all the right colors and looks like a mini-picture in a tiny frame. When light is blasted through it and projected on a screen or white wall, the image can be seen by a large group.
3. Slides are also playground equipment. A smooth, curved, descending surface where one places their bottom and lets gravity pull them down to the ground below. Women in skirts descending on a slide often provide nice upskirt views. Women in skirts ascending the ladder on the slide often give nice upskirt views. Slides are often made of metal or plastic. Women attempting to descend a slide without anything covering her buns find they need lubrication to slip down the slide.
